Depending on your model of microwave, the vent grille may be found either above or below the door. This part is used to allow the microwave to vent while it is running. No heat and received F2 and F3 codes indicating defective oven sensor.
Shut power to oven. Removed oven from cabinet and placed on stool. Unscrewed old oven sensor from inside of oven and detached sensor cord from back of oven to remove sensor. Screwed new sensor on inside oven and then ran connection cord through the back of oven and out to be plugged in on rear of unit. Slid oven back into cabinet. Turned power back on to oven and tested the oven to make sure it heats up properly. Very easy installation and it saved us a fortune. Cookies came out just perfect! Read more...

FIX11744215
Manufacturer Part Number
WP74008014
If your oven door is not opening or closing easily, there may be an issue with the door hinge. The hinge uses spring tension to allow the door to stay open at an angle instead of dropping open. This genuine OEM hinge can be used on either the left or righthand side of the door, and measures approximately 20.5 inches long. This part is sold individually, however we recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, as they can wear out a similar rate.

Oven door Hinge was broke...Door would just fall open
Watched the video on the repair you supplied...gave us confidence to make the repair. As easy as the video shows. We went ahead and bought 2 hinges and replaced both sides, since we had it apart...We, however, took the opportunity to take the door completely apart and clean it very good. Went back together easy. The new parts fit perfectly and my oven looks and works like it is brand new..New light bulb was a snap too. So glad I found this company....fast shipping too. Will always look here first in the future. Read more...

Microwave would run a few seconds then quit
Removed cover and control panel. Discovered the thermostat had a burned connection. Removed thermostat and replaced. Small issue with new thermostat which is version 2. Both leads were large and while the previous thermostat had one small lead and the other large. I had to expand one of the connectors, cut the plastic sleeve and secure with electrical tape. The switches went in very easily and everything went back together without any problems. Read more...
Microwave Fuse
$20.72
In Stock
Fix Number
FIX1481237
Manufacturer Part Number
WB27X10928
This ceramic microwave fuse is just over an inch in length. It is white in the center, and metal on both ends. This is a 20-amp fuse, and is used to power your microwave. If the touch pad on the microwave becomes unresponsive, the microwave produces little to no heat, or the appliance simply does not turn on, it could mean that your fuse is at fault and needs to be replaced. Because this part contains an electrical charge, remember to disconnect power to the microwave unit before you begin this repair. NOTE: Before you start this repair, ensure that the microwave is unplugged, and the capacitor is discharged. A capacitor stores large amounts of electricity even after your microwave is unplugged.

  • No heat
  • Touchpad does not respond
  • Won’t turn on

Installation Instructions

Richard from Milwaukee, WI
Microwave was totally "dead".
This microwave is positioned above the stove and under a cabinet. The fuse can be replaced by leaving the microwave intact. First, unplug the unit. Use a phillips screwdriver to remove the outer exhaust vent cover. On the right (next to the clock) remove a 2nd metal cover (about 2" x 4"). Use a flashlight and look into this cavity right behind the clock. You will see the fuse. Reaching the fuse presents a problem as most hands are too large. However, I was able to remove the old fuse and insert a new one with a pliers. Be careful in 2 respects. First, make a foil tray and place it below the fuse. In case you drop the fuse, you can catch it. Second, grip the fuse firmly, but not hard so as to avoid breakage. Replace the metal cover and the vent cover and plug in the unit. BINGO, it works!
