Door Gasket

Fix Number FIX11731610
Manufacturer Part Number W10861521
This is a genuine OEM replacement door gasket for your dryer. The gasket, also known as a door seal, is used to provide an airtight seal when the dryer door is closed. If the gasket has failed it can cause hot air to escape the dryer and allow for cooler room temperature air to be sucked in. This causes the dryer to run longer, which means it is less efficient. When replacing this part, we find it easiest to remove the door from the dryer and place it on a suitable work surface. Please note that you will need a high temperature adhesive to attach the gasket to the door, and this glue is not included with the gasket.

You may need to replace the seal if there is air leaking from the dryer while it is running, which would result in your laundry taking too long to dry.
