This 89.5-inch drive belt is for dryers. It has a 4-rib design on the inside for a better grip. If comparing the size of your current belt to the new one, keep in mind that a small amount of stretching and contortion will occur over time, and this belt will fit despite small inaccuracies. You will find this part wrapped all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and around the drive motor pulley. This allows the parts to work together to spin the drum as the motor rotates. A common symptom of a broken drive belt is a drum that will not turn. This part is prone to wear and tear over time and will likely stretch or become brittle, leading to complete breakage of the part. The drum cannot spin without a drive belt, so it needs to be replaced immediately. For this repair, we recommend wearing work gloves to protect your hands from sharp edges, disconnect the power, remove the main panel, and access the motor drive to secure the new belt in place.

This single drum bearing slide is an OEM approved replacement part for dryers. It can also be known as a bearing drum slide, pad, or glide. The slides attach to the inner most slots on the front bearing. As the dryer rotates, the drum bearing slides help to support the front of the drum. If your appliance becomes noisy, is not drying properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace it. If you are replacing one slide, we recommend replacing the other slide at the same time, as they deteriorate at a similar rate. You will need to order 2 of these parts as there are 2 in each dryer. It is approximately 2.6-inches deep, 0.06-inches in height, and 0.5-inches wide. This part is denoted as being green in the title, however users and technicians have noted it is actually gray in color.

Dark marks on clothing; clothing sticking between drum and front panel
Others with the same problem of dark marks on clothing suggested replacing the white and the grey drum slides that slip into the front drum bearing unit. When I open up the dryer, I did find that both the white and grey drum slides on one side of the front drum bearing piece had completely worn away, and some of the drum bearing piece was also worn away. I had decided in advance to order both white slides, both grey slides, a new felt seal, and the front drum bearing piece. Possibly I could have reused the old front drum bearing, but the replacement was cheap enough. Three bits of advice: 1) if you replace the felt seal, make sure you get it tucked behind the clips on the door panel; 2) if you replace the front drum bearing piece, once you have the dryer put back together, reach up and pull the plastic drum bearing toward you to be sure it is fully snapped into place; 3) after you replace the slides or felt, the drum will make mild rubbing noises as it turns, so run the dryer with no heat for about 30 minutes to seat the parts. This single drum bearing slide attaches to the outer-most side of the bearing. This part is also sometimes referred to as a drum slide, drum glide, or drum pad. It provides support to the front of the drum as it rotates. They are approximately 3-inches long, 1 inch wide and made from a durable white plastic. If your appliance starts making unusual sounds, is not drying clothes properly, or leaves marks on clothes, it may be time to replace this part. The dryer has 2 slides, which we recommend replacing at the same time, as they tend to wear out at the same rate. You will need to order 2 of this part to replace both drum bearing slides, since it is sold individually. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the power to the dryer.

This Lint Filter is a genuine OEM part for your clothes dryer. The Lint Filter can be used with both electric and gas models. Proper air flow is essential to the operation of the dryer, and the lint filter helps prevent debris from getting into your ducts and causing obstructions. Regular cleaning of this part is essential to prevent fires and can help your laundry dry more quickly. It may be time to replace the filter if the casing is cracked or the screen is ripped, or it is taking a long time for your laundry to dry. Installation is very easy and no tools are required; simply remove the old filter (just like you would to clean it) and insert the new one in its place.

Located on the inside of the dryer front panel, the front drum bearing helps your appliance to operate as quietly as possible. It allows the front of the drum to glide smoothly on the felt seal of the front panel when the drum is rotating. This manufacturer-approved part is made of a durable white plastic and measures approximately 9 inches by 20 inches. If your dryer makes a continuous banging noise while it is powered on, it is likely that the drum bearings need to be replaced. Keep in mind that the drum slides should be replaced at the same and will need to be purchased separately (the front drum bearing holds 4 glides), as this part includes the bearing only.

If your dryer is excessively noisy when operating, is not tumbling, or is leaving marks on your laundry, it may be time to replace the drum glides. The drum glide bearing is a genuine OEM part for your dryer and is used to help the drum rotate smoothly and quietly. If the bearing has worn out, it can make your dryer noisy when operating, with a metal-on-metal sound. Please be sure to disconnect the power supply to the dryer before beginning this repair.

This is a duct felt seal for a dryer. The duct felt seal allows the front-load dryer drum to glide smoothly on the front panel. Your dryer will not function properly if the drum felt seal is compromised. Disconnect power to the dryer before completing this repair. You will need to remove the front of the dryer to gain access to the felt seal. This felt seal may differ in appearance from your original but will function the same as your original. This is an OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the authentic manufacturer.

If your current timer knob has become cracked or otherwise damaged, this is the replacement part you will need. This knob is meant for D-shaped shafts only. The timer knob allows you to select the amount of time your dryer will run for, so if broken can make setting the time and starting your dryer difficult. It is approximately 3 inches in diameter and is made of durable white plastic. No tools are required for this repair, just pull the existing knob straight off the shaft and install the replacement. Knobs are sold individually and are sourced from the manufacturer.

My dryer would not start
Step 1. After unplugging the dryer from the wall outlet, Removed 6 screws holding the back cover of the instrument panel.
Step 2. Removed the start switch by gently twisting left and pulling out of the socket.
Step 3. Removed the three wires, one at a time and placed them on the new start switch, then installed the new switch in its socket by gently twisting to the right.
(Note: plugged power cord back in and tried the new Start Switch. Still would not start.)
Step 4. Removed the Timer Knob by pulling strait off the shaft, then replaced with the new knob. Pushed the Start button and the Dryer worked. The old knob was obviously stripped so as to slip on the Timer shaft, giving the impression it was moving but it was not.

M Series Ignition Coil Kit

This coil ignition kit is used in dryers to open the gas valve when the dryer is on. This kit includes two coils. One is a two-wire secondary coil and the other is a three-wire booster coil. If your dryer does not heat or you notice heating inconsistencies, then the gas valve may be damaged and it is best to replace it to solve this problem. To repair, first release the two retaining clips that hold the top panel in place, then remove two screws that retain the front panel of the dryer cabinet. Next, pull the front panel forward and remember to disconnect the door switch. After accessing the gas coils, start removing the wires and unscrew the bracket that holds the coils. Remember to remove both the dual and main coil without removing the spacer. For more information on the kit and repair instructions, refer to diagram for a list of the parts.

Not heating, Not Drying
I opened the dryer with instructions from Youtube, and look for the parts that I thought had the problem: Flame sensor and Ignition Coil Kit. Put dryer back together and turned on, it works like a champ, :-) I requested a repairman from Sears and he told me to just buy a new one, because the part needed cost $459.00, but for some reason it made no sense to me, so I went to this site and put the model number of my dryer and the problem, and they suggested that I replace the flame sensor.
