★★★★★
1 Review
Fix Number FIX11746830
Manufacturer Part Number WP902894
This door gasket can be installed by simply pressing it into the channel around the door. This dishwasher door gasket, or door seal, allows the dishwasher door to have an airtight seal when closing the door. No tools are required for this installation, simply remove the existing gasket and press the replacement gasket into the channel around the door. It is recommended to clean the channel while the gasket is removed. This part may need to be replaced if the existing one is cracked, broken, or hardened, possibly causing water to leak through the door while it is running. This part is sold individually, and is sourced from the original manufacturer.

Inner Door Foam Insulation Strip
★★★★★
★★★★★
1 Review
Fix Number FIX11748543
Manufacturer Part Number WPW10117748
This is an inner door foam insulation strip for your dishwasher. This part is also known as the foam seal. It creates a waterproof seal to prevent leaking from your appliance. Before installing the new strip, check your door for sticky leftover residue. This can be scraped off with a putty knife. Clean the surrounding area with a soapy wet cloth, and allow time to dry. During this process, we recommend checking your door gasket and dispenser grommet for damage to ensure your leaking problem is solved.

Water was leaking directly under the front door and dripping into my basement
One of the easiest repairs you can ever make. Took a hex bit and put into my drill. 10 screws later and the front panel pops off. My piece of inner door foam wasn't even stuck to the door like the video showed so it was easy for me to spot the problem instantly. I left the old one on the piece of insulation it was stuck to and put the new one exactly where the video showed me. Ran a couple of cycles and not one drip. I usually don't leave reviews I but I thought the help on this site was great esp the installation video. The part was $19 plus shipping , a little expensive for a little strip of foam IMO but I work in HVAC field so I understand manufacturers can charge whatever price they want if nobody else makes that part. noticed water was leaking in front of washer-right before we were leaving for vacation
Upon returning from vacation, we needed to do laundry-so I put some plastic under the washer and we did a load. The water was leaking from the seam between the lid and the back panel on the side with the hot and cold water connections- not the front. I removed two screws from the front bottom panel and two screws from the underside of the lid.Turning the washer on showed the leak was coming from the injection valve( it was brittle from age). The rubber injection valve was replaced and installed( using a little liquid soap to help the rubber hose to slip over the rubber injection valve) with a new clamp. The leak was fixed. Read more...

Door Latch Assembly
★★★★★

4 Reviews
Fix Number FIX11731673
Manufacturer Part Number W10862259
This authentic OEM kit includes the door handle and latch for your dishwasher. The latch is used to the keep the door secured while the appliance is operating, and will not allow the dishwasher to run if the door is opened. Regular wear and tear can result in the assembly becoming damaged, but you can prolong the life of the part by being gentle when opening and closing the dishwasher door. A Torx screwdriver is necessary for this repair, and you will need to access the inner panel and disconnect and reconnect the wire harnesses to the latch. Be sure to disconnect the power supply to the dishwasher before beginning this repair.

Dishwasher wouldn't open, handle broke
We followed the instructions we found here. Seemed simple enough. Unscrewed the inside of the door and pulled out the handle/latch. The switches plug into the assembly and the old ones were EXTREMELY hard to unplug. Required pliers and a LOT of straining. Once we got those off, the rest was simple. Plug the new assembly in, set it back into the door and replace the screws. Viola! Just be careful that you don't mess up the "padding" type material that sits inside the door panel. If it gets folded, or bunched up the panel won't sit quite right for the screws to go back in. Read more...
