The only tool required to complete the repair is a flat blade screwdriver. Turn the old clip a quarter turn counterclockwise to remove it, then line up the new clip and give it a quarter turn clockwise to lock it into place.

Next, disconnect connecter wire and remove nut with wrench. Tip: when installing new nut, remember to add insulator sleeve back on. As a safety precaution, remember to disconnect the water supply line before beginning this installation. Also, unplug your dishwasher from the power source.
