original agitator "gears" were worn making the rotation / agitation work poorly
When the parts arrived it was relatively easy to remove the entire agitator system with one socket through the top of the molded plastic. The new parts were exact fit (even exact color) so repair was fairly easy.
Once the bolt is removed allowing removal of the entire agitator, the remaining parts come apart without tools. The only problem is if the new part comes apart. The "gears" can be put in backwards not allowing for the proper agitation.

agitator was not turning
I removed all center plastic pcs. by pulling them out by hand. No tools required until you get to nut, unscrewed nut counterclockwise and then pulled straight up on agitator. Set it on the ground and replaced worn parts. Reversed setup to put back together. P.S. Agitator snaps on and off, it takes a little force ..........AFTER NUT IS REMOVED OF COURSE.

Turn water off at the inlet valve of hose you are replacing. Disconnect inlet hose the washer and let water drain out in a bucket. Then remove old hose. Replace new hose to inlet valve then washer . Use pliers to tighten both ends. Turn on water to check leaks at both ends of hose.

Agitator wasn't working properly
Watched the PartSelect video and it was a help, but it stated to throw away the old bolt and install the new, but it wasn't inclued in the Cam kit and wasn't told when ordering that it should be replaced. Still don't understand why. Took the opportunity to REALLY clean the agitator inside and out of soap scum. Just about soaked off with Scrubbing Bubbles in the shower! PartSelect had the parts we needed at a much less cost than the major stores. Thank you!S

Top part of agitator stopped working
Pull off the fabric softener dispenser. Removed the plastic seal. Use a socket and extension to remove the bilt and lift off the lower agitator. You may need to have a helper hold the lower agitator while you loosen the bolt. Remove the agitator from the machine. Use a flat bladed screw driver to break off the 4 small white tabs on the clear lock ring and remove the old parts. Install the new parts and re-install the agitator.

Making groaning noise in spin
Having been out of the business for quite a few years I thought that I was dealing with a direct drive machine. Thinking that it was the motor coupler. I removed the control panel and attempted to pull the cabinet froward. Not so, it had a solid cabinet, so I tilted the machine against the wall and looked under the washer finding the driven Transmission pulley loose on the shaft. The splines on the pulley were pretty well worn but I tightened the nut and it worked okay. But I ordered a pulley and replaced after it's arrival. The motor capacitor also broke it's mount off so I had to rehang it with zip ties and repaired the wires to the Capacitor, (Which BTW had about 22 gauge wire). I found it hard to believe that they would use such small wire.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

Agitator cam dogs noisy
Tried the repair as described in the video and with hints provided, but the agitator would not seperate. Waited for replacement parts (arrived in two days, very good!) and saw that I could destroy old part getting it out and still make the repair. Once old part was free the rest of the repair was text book, or video book easy!

Wouldn't agitate
I watched the how-to video on your website and did exactly what he showed and it worked. I am a 44 year old woman and am pleased that I was able to do this repair by myself. I did borrow the tools from my son. Thank you!

Replaced the cam kit
I watched the video, read about the 10-minute repairs and how easy it was, and thought "no problem"...It turned out that "popping the top part of the agitator" off the base was NOT easy. I finally admitted defeat and got my husband's help. He could not get them to "pop" apart either! I did not know that the 4 white plastic tabs through the cam were what was holding it together. Since I could see that ours were damaged and I wasn't getting anywhere anyway, I took a long screwdriver and poked, scraped, and pried on them out of sheer frustration. When some of the bits of plastic had broken off, I stood on the base and yanked up on that darn thing as hard as I could and yep - it "popped" off sending parts flying across the laundry room. The rest of the repair was done in under 5 minutes.
Note to others: If the 4 plastic tabs that hold the cam to the base have been melted/crushed flat, don't expect the two parts of the agitator to come apart easily!

Clothes mover would not turn while agitator worked fine
Like most said, I had to pull very hard to separate the clothes mover (auger) from the agitator. I tried to remove the bolt from the center column, but it didn't fall out immediately so I figured I would just take it out after I seperated the two peices. BIG MISTAKE! When the clothes mover finally popped off with a great deal of force, the bolt and rubber washer went flying. And I was in the laundry room with clothes everywhere. So it took me about 20-30 minutes going through all the clothes in the room to find the bolt. So try a little harder than I did to romove the bolt before you seperate the the two main pieces. Other than that, it was a very simple repair. You just need to have the right tool - a hex-shaped socket on an extension arm to reach into the center column and loosen the bolt after getting to it.

Cam-Agitator Failure
I performed the repair after watching a YouTube video. Definately need a socket wrench ext. Before you try anything. It all went to plan until I tried to pull the agitator tube from the agitator base. The problem was caused by the manufacturer melting the base tabs with the agitator spindle. The melted plastic made it near impossible to pull the two pieces apart without using a knife and twenty minutes of my time prying the agitator from the tabs. Other than that it was an moderately easy fix with two tools and well worth it.
