Broken front on dispenser drawer
Despite putting all the information about my washer in the order, I received a dispenser drawer that was similar to the one I needed, but would not fit. It was also a slightly different color than the original part on my machine, so obviously someone just threw it in a box and sent it to me. It wasn’t even wrapped in plastic! Just the part in a box, no instructions, no bill of sale, nothing. When I needed to return it because it wasn’t the proper part, I HAD TO PAY THE $10.00 TO SHIP IT BACK!!! Really poor customer service in my opinion. Hopefully I will at least get a credit for the incorrect part that I had to pay to return.

The plastic door strike/catch had become brittle and broken off inside the door on a front loading washer.
There were only two screws that held the door strike/catch in place. I had to fish out the broken plastic piece with a pair of hemostats. The only difficult part about changing the new piece was that I had to find someone with the correct screwdriver to use since it was not a standara screwdriver. Luckily I live next door to a mechanic and borrowed his. The two screws came off easilty and I was able to replace it in 2 minutes. I was thrilled that the part that I ordered arrived the next day.

Washer would not complete the spin cycle
I started by removing the two screws at the back of the washer and taking the top off of the washing machine. Than I removed the two screws securing the door lok and switch assembly. I disconected the two or three electrical connections and install the new one in the reverse order.

Washer drum would not spin
For some time, our washer's door was vibrating and making noise during the spin cycles. Then after washing a large blanket, the drum stopped spinning all together. I was able to slide the top of the washer off after undoing the screws in the back and then following the directions, found that the error code was for the washer door. The drum would not spin because it thought that the door was open, confirming what we thought, the door lock and switch assembly were bad.
I was able to unscrew the assembly from the front, then reach down and after ordering the new part, disconnect the 3 cables, remove the old part then redo the cables on the new assembly and Voila...working washer, woo hoo!
