Drum would sway out of balance
Followed the kit instructions to the letter. working around tight clearences was really the only thing to slow me down. The other posts tell the rest of the story better than I can.

Broken shock - slight leak
You could do the replacement by just removing the maintenance panel on the front, but removing the rear panel gives you more options for getting at the shocks.

The front panel comes off with 2 screws, the back has a lot of screws holding it on, a cordless drill is the way to go.

Prying on the head of the plastic bolt with a pair of needle-nosed pliers while pushing down on the tab seemed to work well. I did have to remove a small box that houses electronics to remove the one from the right side.

While I was in there, I tightened up the numerous bolts that holds the drum shell together. Machine is much smoother now and no leaks.

washing machine made loud clunking noise and wouldnt spin on high speed
First I unplugged. The machine from the outlet then disconnected the two water supply lines from the machine. Next I removed the back panel to gain access to the bottom of the drum. Next I took a nut driver and used it to depress the little tab on the push pin that hold the bottom part of the strut on. After getting the pins out I replaced the old strut assembly withe the new one. I used the nut driver again. But this time I used it as a set tool. Place the nut driver on the end of the push pin and gently tap with a hammer. Until the pin is all the way in. After that I reversed the assembly process to put the machine back together.

Broken drum vane
Followed existing instructions. Easier to install than remove. Install took 1 minute and was obvious once the old vane was removed. Had to break the old one to remove as it didn't slide out as expected. But no problem. Was already broken. :)

the washer would not spin out all the water
I took off the bottom cover by removing the two screws on the bottom cover. The shock absorber was completely broken off from its bracket. I pulled the plastic pin on the top and bottom of the shock absorber and installed the new shock. The machine works perfect again spinning out all the water. With the broken shock absorber the drum will shake violently and the machine shuts down. It makes it appear to be an electric control problem.

Drain Pump Failed
I removed the old drain pump by detatching the drain hose and drain boot I replaced the old clamps with the screw type hose clamps which made it easier to install. I then removed the 2 mounting screws securing the drain pump to the base of the washer, replaced the pump by attaching the drain and drain boot and secured the pump to the base of the washer and the washer worked fine.

drum spring failed
Part was perfect! Ordered on a Sunday morning before 10am and was delivered 2 days later. Fixed the washer in 20 minutes which would have cost me hundreds for a service call. And, I can't imagine how long this would have taken if I had tried to find this part the old fashioned way. Awesome, thank you Part Select!!

Washer pump was very loud
Took the two 5/16ths pump mount screws out, used a pliers to remove the in/out pump hose clamps, disconnected wires. Reversed process to install new pump. Output hose clamp was the trickiest due to its location - but still easy.

noise and excessive movement
Pulled the bottom front plate off the washer to inspect. Noticed there are two small shock absorbers (like on a car) that attach from the bottom of the drum frame near the front of the washer, to the bottom of the washer frame. Both of my shocks were broken at the attaching point at the top, where they attach to the drum frame. These shocks are held in place with a nylon lock pin at both ends. All the pins were inserted from the back of the washer. The end of the pin visible from the front was a white plastic pin, about 1/2" diameter with a pointed end and a small tab to keep the pin from backing out. Tab was fairly easy to depress, but pin was not easy to push back for removal. Used a small pair of Vice Grip Pliers to clamp down the tab and provide better leverage to push the pin back. Once the tab was inside the shock mount, used a 1/4" x 6" socket extension (round side) to push the pin the remainder of the way out. There was a box pretty close to the rear side of the washer frame attachment on the right side. Pushed the pin back as far as I could until it contacted the box, then (since one new pin came with the shock kit) used the vice grips to twist the old pin out. Installation was easy after lubricating the pins. Inserted the bottom right pin from the front because of the box. Operated the washer with the panel off to observe the movement of the shocks. While there, heard some noise from the drain pump. Took hose off and there is a square rubber box that serves as a collector for waste water coming from the bottom of the washer. I found a golf tee in mine, that was lightly rubbing against the propeller of the pump (along with 5 quarters). Removed the tee, reconnected all the hoses, everything is quiet and smooth. I got lucky... check your pockets.
