2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

my wife removed two screws and removed clips with pliers. We ordered part (2 days) it was fast. Installed in less than 5 min. and I only have one arm. We tried to find part locally but with no model # the parts houses could not find it. We found it on your site in less than 10 min. Your graphs and photos made it super easy. downloaded instructions from your website on how the part went in the oven, ordered part, and installed when it got here. shut off the breaker (found out it was mis-marked in my breaker box!) undid two screws, pulled off two clamps reinstalled and we were baking by dinner!

Al lI had to do remove the oh swith & attach th e new on & push in place
It took about 5 min. to turn off the electric & to turn it back on.

Took the door apart and replaced the hinge, very easy

I pulled down the wire around the glass cover. . . Released on end of the wire from its holder being careful to not let the glass cover drop. Unscrewed the bulb and replaced with replacement. Easy, easy.

I watched the youtube video that was provided by this website on my computer while doing this repair step by step. It was a snap!

My 31 yr. old grandson very carefully took the whole door apart. Took out the broken window and put the new one back in. He was very careful to put every screw back in the original hole. It took him exactly one hour.

The repair was straight forward. Remove about a million screws and several layers. The only challenge was loosening some baked on screws in the innermost layer. Repair would have been less than an hour if not for those screws. Key advice is to pay attention to the order that each layer went back on. My oven/stove is about 25 years old, but works great. The part was backordered at a local appliance part store from May to ???. I ordered it at PartSelect and it was also backordered for a couple of months. I got it delivered to my home from PartSelect before it ever came in from the local store.

Replaced oven gasket and both oven hinges. Repairs did not work. Oven door is actually worst. Do not waste your time replacing the oven hinges unless they are actually broken. When to Ace hardware and bought a package of 3 super magnets for about $10. Practice placing the magnets on metal strip on outside of the actual oven vs the oven door. This metal strip is not galvanized for which the oven cleaning latch goes through. Appeared to solve the problem. I then used epoxy glue to insure the super magnets would permanently stay in place. These are dangerous magnets that must be kept away from children and pets. You will spend more time separating these magnets from each other than gluing them in place. This part I will let you figure out but the only way to separate the 3 magnets from each other is the slide them, one at a time, from each other. Now I am awaiting 4 to 6 hours for the epoxy to cure. We took the door off, you have to be careful of the hinges popping back. We put small screwdrivers on each side and held the hinges out, this made the door easy to just stand up and slide back on the hinges. The glass replacement was simple just a few screws. We spent $127.00 on the part and shipping and a new wall oven would have cost us $1500.00. Thanks for making this part available.

In my 26 year old oven the screws to remove the element were extremely difficult to remove, but with 6-10 applications of Liquid Wrench and brute strength we finally did. We were a bit concerned with the insulation that was protruding but used electrical tape to secure the wires to the leads for good measure. All was successfull. I love my Jenn-Aire double oven!
