Valve Leaking
The valve on the frig cracked when the frig was in freezing temps during a move.
The part was slightly different than the picture on the parts website due to a design change that eliminated the Y in the water line created only one connection on the valve where there used to be two. I found this out reading on other websites.
This design change also resulted in a part number change, but because this website had such good pics and views, I was able to determine the part was right. We received the part within 3 days and installation was easy. We eliminated the Y in the line and attached the fittings.

ice maker chute door not working
removed outside water spill tray and removed exterior cover & interior cover exposing the door arm and solenoid. replaced with new parts including spring. Elontronics have a plug which is easy to disconnecct. & reconnect
old solenoid head would not have fit new door arm
and vice versa.
I strongly suggest using the kit.
A Torx type screw driver is required for all screws
on the Jenn-Air

The round door on my ice chute broke off
I ordered the ice dispenser and selenoid door kit, it was easy to repair because I only needed the door. As per the instructions I removed about seven screws and disconnected the power source to the dispenser unit, pulled the unit out
and replaced the door in the two slots. Plugged the power source back into the slot, put the screws back in, now it works like new.
Thank you PartSelect, I received the part in just a couple of days. I recommend your service to everyone. I saved myself a lot of money and will order again on any needed
parts in the future.

The in-door water dispenser was dripping.
I reasoned that the water-value was caked with hard water deposits, or perhaps just worn out. I traced the plastic water line to the back of unit, then found the double water valve. I was not "sure" that this was the problem, but I order the part any way and it fixed it!! The removal /installation was pretty easy. First turn off the water supply to the unit. Then loosen and remove the incoming copper pipe from the unit. Remove just two 1/4 in. hex head screws and carefully pull the unit out a bit. Then remove the electrical connectors and the plastic tubing connectors. Just do the reverse to install it. I am very happy with the item ordered from PartsSelect. Perfect. And shipping time was fast too. Thanks guys.

Door flap broke - side clip sheared off
Removed shelf, removed 2 screws, pulled off face plate. Removed electrical connection to circuit board. Removed 3 screws holding part in place and pulled forward. Replaced door flap easily. Hardest part was getting dispenser mechanism back in place with the water tube routed through the right spot.

Door parts separated, didn't seal or function
Followed the directions included with the parts, which were exact and well illustrated. If you are comfortable working around circuit boards and electrical connectors (with the power OFF, please!), then you can do this repair. Why electronics on this repair? Because you have to unplug a board to get to the parts, and disconnect the connectors to the solenoid. But again, the directions were fabulous, and I'm almost looking forward to needing to use PartSelect again. Almost.

I took off the backing off the back of the refrig. & the water valve with a nutdriver. Then unpluged two wire connectors & disconnect three water lines. Pulled out the old valve & hooked-up the new valve in reverse order. It don't get any easer than that. The dripping water dispencer was no more.

Leak from bottom of fridge
I removed the one sheet metal screw holding the valve to the side of the fridge. I unhooked the water line, reinstalled the waterline to the new valve and screwed in back to the side of the fridge with the sheet metal screw.

Ice dispenser door would not open
I had previously ordered the solenoid and door kit. The instructions were very well done. The pictures were a bit blurred but have been recopied several times however were adequate to see approximates on where things were. I removed solenoid and replaced it and the door flapper for ice dispenser. No problems with any of that. I had to work with the spring a little, I should have paid more attention to how many times to wrap it for the correct tension. However the solenoid was not the problem. There was intermittent operation from the solenoid when I would jiggle the pc board. Probably has a bad solder joint on the board. I ordered a new board, it took only 10 minutes to replace it since I was familiar with taking the housing loose. Put it all back together and it's working great. There was no drawing or instructions with the pc board but there were in the solenoid kit I had gotten first.
I do highly recommend Parts Select. Parts were shipped promptly. Matter of fact when I ordered the pc board early on Monday. I received it Tuesday afternoon with just ground delivery.
Very Happy Customer. Thanks Parts Select.

pin hole opened up in 1/2 of double valve as a water leak
Turned off main water line at frig. disconnected water line. Lossened 1 screw- removed old unit and cut the two water lines going to the ice and water outlets. Pushed the water lines into the quick connects of the new unit --reconnected the water line-- rescrewed the unit to frig. turn on water . it was fixed.
