Water was leaking under and behind the refrigerator.
I pulled the unit out, removed the lower access panel in the back. The receiving unit of the water line (Water Valve Assembly), had water spraying out of it which appeared to be as fine as a stran of hair. Aside from the wire attachments and multiple hoses attached to it, it was really easy to remove the old one and install the new one. Although the replacement part cost approx. $92, I would suspect I saved at least $50-$100 for a service call, not to mention who knows, $50-$100 in labor as well. Words of advice: Never be afraid to take on a challenge!

My Icemaker arm was broken. It didnt move up or down by itself.
I removed the ice tub. Removed the screw on the left side that holds closed the section where the icemaker plug is connected. Disconnected the plug. Then removed the bottom right screw. I was then able to remove the Icemaker by unhooking it from the bcak freeze wall. I disconnected the icemaker from the fan gaurd. Removed the icemaker cover. unscrewed the 3 icemaker screws and opened up the chamber. removed the old Ejector Blade Drive Cam by removing the outer srew that hold the gear to the icemaker. changed the cam with the new one and reassembled everything.

Icemaker quit making ice.
The parts were here the next day. After removing the old ice maker it was a simple installation using the adapter cord furnished. It took about 15 minutes. You have to work with the cord some to get it to fit behind the ice maker, but it does fit. The ice maker started up immediately & works great.

Water leaking when trying to dispense water
Replaced hose that cracked from over heating with new hose and couplers. This refrigerator will over heat easily and has been a real pain because of it. Must keep it clean and vacuum dust by removing back cover.

No water to icemaker, Slow water to drink dispenser
I first pulled the electrical plug. Then shut off the water supply, I unscrewed the screws holding the cardboard backing on the refrigerator, this exposed the water valve. The plug in water lines came out easily and inserted easily into the new valve. Turned the water on to check for leaks, none. I then plugged in the unit and after a few cycles I had ice. $53 dollars and some change and we are back in business. Thanks to you guys, it went smooth and the parts came quickly.

Solenoid was leaking water
I removed the cover off the back and removed the screw that holds the bracket to the water Valve.
Pulled the element out and cut the water lines and placed them in each soleniod and then removed the 4 wire harness and placed then on the new water valve and , turned on the water and checked for leaks. Put water valve bracket back in place and checked for leaks. Everything was working properly. Replaced the back cover. End of project.

Ice maker wouldn't work.
Removed old ice maker and control valve. Control valve is in the back of the refrigerator in the bottom corner. Unplug the refridge, turn off water supply valve, remove mounting screw and unplug the control valve from the wiring harness connection. Using a flat screw driver, remove the four water lines (this is the most difficult part). Go inside the freezer and remove the ice maker by loosening the two top screws and removing the bottom screw. Unplug the electrical connection by pulling straight out or use a flat screw driver to pry off. Installation of the new parts is the reverse of the removal. The new ice maker has a pig tail that is necessary to use. This pig tail is longer than the original but will loop up behind the unit and back down to the female plug. Full ice bucket in 48 hours.

Ice maker stopped working; would not fill
It was as easy as the instructions were clear (and they were). Remove 2 screws and two nuts, pop out the old ice maker, pop in the new, plug in and tighten screws/bolts. It worked. I'm happy.

Icemaker stopped cycling and wouldn't make ice
I removed the lower screw (not needed for the new icemaker), loosened the 2 top screws, unplugged the wire harness and removed the old icemaker. Unpacked the new icemaker assembly from the box, wiped the ice cube depressions to remove any debris, snapped on the water tube adapter, hung the new assembly on the 2 loosened upper screws and tightened the screws. The wire harness required the supplied pigtail plug which made the wire assembly long and awkward to replace the ice bucket/dispenser assembly, plugged it in and was done. It took a total of about 10 minutes for the entire operation and had a full bin of ice cubes within 36 hours and was ready for the ice dispenser/crusher in the freezer door. Easy install!

Cool water dispenser would not deliver water.
Problem was not solved by replacing water valve.
Seems that if the water reservor temp in the fresh food section is too cool, it will form ice plugs in the line to the dispensor on the freezer door. Currently running both section on the 5 and 5 temperture settings.

Water on floor behind refrigerator, Water valve leaking
Disconnect unit from electric outlet, remove the lower back panel, locate water valve at lower left corner, Mine had a noticeable leak from blue water valve assembly. Turn off water supply, remove water valve assembly from unit, remove push and pull water tubes and harnesses.

Basically a plug and play fix, everything is clearly identified and color coded, just make sure the 4 wiring harnesses are kept in original position as they are transferred to new part.

Turn on water supply and check for leaks.
