EF36IWFSSS1 Dacor Refrigerator - Instructions

Googled how to replace door gaskets and watched a video and did what it said and was so easy. took longer to remove everything and the shelves and storage bins and wash down the refrigerator than replace the door gaskets.

took out old lid, took out drawers above this drawer to make it easier to work on. installed new drawer simple by hand with no tools. put other drawers back. very simple no tools needed.

Thanks to others who shared their story, I was prepared to "muscle" the front cover off the old crisper and snap it into place on the new crisper -- warning if you are good with puzzles and mechanics, this repair is a "snap"; Pantry Lid is very easy, push pin on left side, slide old lid out and push new lid in.

The broken one just popped out and the new one popped right in! This company shipped out the part I needed immediately I had it in two days!! I highly recommend them!!

Shut off water supply. filter is located in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator on the inside. open the drop-down door. by hand pull the filter downward. then twist it to the left one quarter turn. it should pull out. I replaced it with a filter bypass plug. you can purchase a high quality filter to replace.it don't buy cheap filter.I made that mistake! hope this helps good luck!

It was very easy. I removed the two crisper drawers and the glass shelf above the pantry section. I removed two bolts with a nut driver and one screw from the slide track. I pulled out the broken piece and did that all in reverse. Took 5 mins tops.

Also I wanted to say I got my replacement part in two days with standard shipping.

Took off old one and just replaced new, very easy and corrected problems!

Originally I took the module off and found that a small plastic part had broken. Both pieces were still there, so I super glued them together and reassembled the unit. It worked great for a couple months. I realized it needed a more permanent fix, so I found the model # and looked up the part. That was very easy on your website. I ordered the part expecting it to take 4-7 days. It was at my house in two days! 15 minutes later I was makin' ice, and makin' my wife happy. Thank you for an all around great experience. took me less than 5min. to replace inlet valve.
an cleaned my frig at the same time that took me longer to do.

No product was sent in the box for the shaft I received an empty box from them cannot perform any repairs because I got no product from this company. Called customer service said due to Covid no customer service available when online and receive no customer service no refund no product no help

Part was pretty ubiquitous so plastic door pins part fits a lot of refrigs, no tools necessary, new part is flexible enough to bend slightly to fit over pins at side. Mine was a bottom freezer type.

stick the very small screw driver in the hole on the left side cover and lift up to release the keeper tab,pull out to expose the wire connecter.insert the small screw driver in the slot on the left side to release the tab while pulling apart the two connectors.tuck the wires tight to side and pull out the ice maker.I thought I was getting the whole ice maker assembly,but just got a part of it,so I had take it apart and put it back together.the hardest thing to change over was the stop lever arm that senses the level of ice in the bin.after all this,it didn't work at all.not happy around here.back to filling ice trays

Actually shouldn't you have included installation instructions with the product?
I had to search for installation instructions on Utube or the job would have ended in another cracked crisper frame.

I followed the video provided by Part Select. I also let the refrigerator stay unplugged overnight with all the doors open. This p-trap kit has fixed the leaks out of the front of the refrigerator. There is no ice build-up in the freezer. Perfect!

unscrewed old filter, screwed in new....good to go!
