burned oven bulb
The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

all glass on this appliance except the stove top and the door for the oven cracked and shattered due to heat?
The light lens was done by removing the pieces of the lense left in the stove, the bulb itself was stuck in the socket, it took pliers to bend and remove it. The replacement bulb has a mind of it own and comes on intermittently. The Interior door glass posed a bit more of a challenge. The door came apart just fine, but couldn't be put pack together as easily. It took three adults to try to press the pieces of the door back together, but to no avail. It is holding less one screw that could not be placed in the proper position due to misalignment of the holes. No pliers were used as they might have cracked the glass on the front of the door. The Glass Backsplash was very easy to install, however, the light, which is 26 inches long is not easy to come by at a reasonable price, so it was not replaced to date. Overall, it was a better deal than buying a new stove or paying for the warranty which could have paid for a new stove for as many years as I have owned this stove.

circuit breaker blew
I went to the source of power on the stove and noticed one of the terminals had come loose from the terminal block and had shorted out against the cover of the terminal junction. After prying the loose terminal off cover I ordered new terminal block and received it the 2nd day. I removed the old terminal block and replaced the part in about 10 minutes..Thank you Parts Select for your easy to find diagrams and quick delivery.
