Head burner had something spilled on it which stained it and left a large dark brown spot
Simply remove two screws take old one off and line up and put new one on and replace the two screws. Couldn't have been easier.

Right front burner would not turn.
This is the second time had to change burner on this range. Last time was the left front. Since I had done it before knew better about being careful of the wiring. Last time sliced it and had to repair it. Also last time had to have a neighbor unscrew old knob. This time had no problem unscrewing the knob. I did have to adjust the know to be align properly. Also forgot to slip to bottom clamp over the first time and again had to reassemble. Once I got it assembled correctly no problems, works great. I had ordered the wiring harness that I had sliced but it was still intact so saved it for another time.

oven light kept burning out instantly
Replaced the oven light with a new one but it burnt out as soon as I turned it on. Therefore I decided a new socket may help.
My whirlpool apparently has the old style socket which is pictured in partselect part #PS12584564. The old style socket has to two metal arms that retain it against the metal reflector.
The part that will come (#PS12584564) however is the new style that whirlpool has changed to, apparently. It is not as pictured. The socket and the reflector have different retention devices.
I used screw drivers to bend the two metal arms away to release the socket. Then I had to use allen wrenches to bend the reflector's retention tabs away.
Once I had the old socket, reflector, and lens replaced I just followed the video on partselect for part #PS12584564

Worn/Bulb Socket
It was alittle difficult at 1st to remove the clips that held in the socket. But once out everything went smoothly.

My original back leg broke because the floor is uneven. Had to pull it out several times.
Put the back of stove on blocks of wood to get high enough to screw the new leg in.

Burner control valve seized up
Disassembly took the most time. After the gas was shut off all the burner heads were removed. Then all the control knobs. Then the front panel. Then the manifold mounting brackets. Then the range top. After all that, it was easy to unbolt the seized-up valve and install the replacement. After tightening down the new valve, be sure to leak-test! Re-installing the range top was tricky as it was difficult to align properly while getting all the burner bases in place. About 1 hour start-to-finish.

New Gas Kitchen Stove. All stoves are manufactured for natural (street) gas. Homes using propane must install different valves for propane service.
The Stove installation manual was accurate and complete. The valve kit was well marked for each part. It was easy to find the proper piece part in the kit. The machining and finish of the parts were top quality. The included instructions addressed clearly the protocol for returning items to the site.

Replacing oven light and socket
The old part, including lightbulb and socket, had corroded into place, and the glass light cover was stuck to the socket. I used a dead blow hammer and a dowel just under the diameter of the hole to tap on the back side of the socket to loosen it and get it out. The metal tabs on the old socket were folded back to make it fit better (?), which made it harder to remove. Lots of muscling of the part to get it out. Easy to install new part once old one was out of the way. An experienced person would have removed the old part and installed the new in no time.

electrical short from oven light.
I trouble shot and traced out to electrical short in face panel and found burnt wires. I've been a licensed electrician for years and it takes alot of comon sense to trouble shoot and find problem. I found schetch-matic of appliance and searched computor and found partselect.com and tried it. It wasnt no time and the part was at my door. Thank you partselect and i would use them again in the future. billy

Terminal block arc'ed because a wire had become loose.
Ordered and received the terminal block. Installed it along with a new 220V power cord and the appropriate insulator . Ensured the terminals were tight with a nut driver. Reinstalled cover. Then, using the control panel, I did a function check on all the heating elements, clock, oven light, to satisfy all operational requirements. All checked good! And, I was relieved that the control panel had not been shorted out as the terminal block was due to a loose connection. Easy fix.

LG KNOB melted
I got from you good quality Knobs from KitchenAid brand (I tried them from a friend Range and then fit perfectly), and I easily replaced all of them, in less that 5 min.

Inside Light would not work
Turned off CB for the oven,Remove the oven from the cabinet , remove the back of the oven, replaced the light Assembly. turned on CB for the oven, tested the light. and truned off the CB and replace the back and reinstalled the oven in the cabinet.
