Pump leaking at shaft
Remove four screws securing control panel from the rear and tilt control panel forward. Unplug wiring harness from door limit switch. Unsnap and remove two S-clamps securing enclosure to back panel. Tilt enclosure slightly forward and remove it from wash machine. Disconnect water hoses and clips securing water pump and remove water pump. Install in reverse order. Caution: inspect water hoses closely. I had a rotten pump intake hose and found out the hard way (water everywhere).

Belt on drum was sqeuling on start up
Had to lay dryer on back. Cause it didn't have a back cover had to take the front door off and go in thru the front. Had to take the vent off. Had to use scotch tape to hold the belt in place while I got it on. It would have been a lot easier if they had a back cover. I only hope I don't have to do it again as it squells a bit on start up. Our Maytag dryer wouldn't spin under a load of wet clothes.
After checking out a video showing how to change the belt I decided to tackle the job. First I pried up the top, there are two plastic tabs in the front corners that hold the top down to the front panel. The top swings upward and will stay in position while you continue to work. Using a 3/8 socket, I removed 4 bolts that hold the front panel onto the frame. Be sure to unhitched the wiring to the door switch and those to the control panel and then the front will come out by lifting it off the tabs in the lower corners. Put the front panel aside and slide the drum forward and out of the dryer frame. Remove the old belt noting how it ms oriented around the tensioner and motor pulley. Now everything should be exposed and you should take the time and clean the inside if I were you. Our dryer was filled with lint and dust but after a good vacuuming and wiping down with a damp sponge, it looked like new again. Put the new belt around the drum noting where it had sat before. There is a grove in the drum but our belt did not go inside their but on the drum itself. Slide the drum back in place and from underneath put the belt on the pulley and under the tensioner. Replace the front panel, rehitch the wires and put the top down and your done. My wife helped clean the inside which took longer than replacing the belt. Total time about an hour or so cleaning time included.

The belt that turns the dryer broke
The front of the dryer needed to be taken off, the drum needed to be taken out and the belt installed on the wheel structure.
I was very pleased at how fast I received the part after ordering it! I will definitely use this site again when ordering replacement parts!

Water pump leaking
Flip washer on its back, Undo/flip the clips/clamps off the water pump, remove the clamps from the hose and remove hoses from water pump, slide the pump off the direct drive, line up the shaft/drive with the new water pump and slide into position and return the clamps to secure water pump in place and reattach water hoses and clamp to the water pump. There should be two hoses going to the water pump, flip washer back upright and run a cycle to make sure the problem has been fixed

Leaking pump
Luckily this washer was in the garage and was being made ready to replace an old broken washer. Being able to lay the washer on its side made the job much easier than if it was upright in the laundry closet.
Removal of the old pump was simply a matter of releasing the two clamps holding the input and output hoses and removing the two spring clips holding the pump in place on the motor shaft.
The new pump install required a reversal of the above and took about 3 minutes. It was a very easy and successful repair.

The Pump Was Cracked
Simple. Removed two hose clamps, pulled off the hoses, removed the clips that held the pump in place and removed the old pump and then simply did the same thing in reverse to put the new pump in. It was easy and the pump was an exact match.

Pump was leaking water
After unplugging power and disconnecting water drain hose, I pulled the washer out aprox four feet from the wall and leaned it back against the wall. I then used a lamp at the end of an ext cord to light up below the washer where the water pump was attached and it was easy to remove and replace! I carefully replaced the washer in its original location and reconnected power and drain hose. The job was complete in 15 minutes! Wow!

Water pump was leaking
I pulled out the washer, laid it on it's back, pulled off the two hoses using pliers for the clamps, pulled back two clips, pulled off the pump from the shaft, put the new pump on the shaft, and did the reverse of the above. It was a simple operation and made even more satisfying by the prompt delivery of the part, within 2 days. Thank you for that, and I will use your services in the future if needed.

Water leaking from under clothes washer
Isolated problem to front section of washer by elevating and adding water. Once I identified the pump as leaking (it was pretty obvious:>)I used a screwdriver to release the snaps that hold the pump to the drive motor. After sliding the pump off of the drive motor I used the pliers I release the clamps on the two hoses. Next I logged on to Partselest.com and ordered a replacement. The item arrived in two days. I placed the pump on the motor first then connected the hoses. It was much easier to slide the hose clamps to the proper position with the pump held secure on the motor.
