Flame did not cycle on and off as it should. It only came on once so clothes did not dry.
After the Radiant Flame Sensor was installed, the problem remained. An appliance repair person then replaced both coils, and that fixed the problem.

The Auto Dry Cycle would quit...timer stop 1/2 way
Watched the vidio. Removed back, swap out part shown and replaced. 10 minutes.......Ran test load, and then with wet clothes.......Worked like it should and a $20 part was way better than replacing a dryer..........

The Burner Would Fire Off When You First Started Drying Cycle But Would Not Fire Anymore After That
I replaced the cycling thermostat but this did not remedy the problem and after further evaluation I determined that the secondary solenoid coil (hold/assist)had an open coil wire on the gas valve. This is best purchased as a set, primary coil and secondary coil, as it is less expensive this way.

Dryer would not heat....at all.
Not noticing the break in the heat coil, I ordered two other minor parts, before ordering the heat coil. Less than 10 minutes to replace the old one, and now it works great! Thank you for your installation instructions and parts diagrams!

Dryer would not heat up.
First I unplugged my dryer. (220v) I then layed the dryer on its front. I then proceeded to remove the back cover after removing the duct clamp. The two screws holding the Cycling thermostat was removed after the two wire connections were slipped off. I placed the new cycling thermostat in place and put everything back in place and behold...Heat! This was a simple job for even the somewhat clumsy repair person. Good luck and Thank you Partselect! P.S. my order was placed on Friday and it was on my doorstep Saturday morning.

The dryer had inconsistent heating.
After watching the video on your website and doing just a little troubleshooting on the components of the dryer (thermostats, heating coil, fuse) I determined this thermostat to be the problem. I ordered it from your site and had it in a few days. Took me only a few minutes to put it in and the dryer is working great now!

Thanks for all the helpful information on your site!

My Dryer Would Heat Initally But Then Lose Heat
We followed the on-line video which was very helpful but it took longer for us. But the part didn't fix the problem, so we had to go back on line and research it some more only to find that the more common cure for our problem was the gas coils which were even easier to replace and that did fix the problem.

replaced the fan
I had to remove the back, top and the tumbler to get to the fan...there are instuctions near the motor that tell you how to remove the fan and in which direction to turn...really is easy, just keep track of how the tumbler belt is routed on the pulley of the motor before you take it off.
