Lint screen was broken - replaced it with a new one.
There were no repairs - I just ordered a lint screen because the screen on the last one pulled away from the frame and wasn't doing a good job of catching the lint. Took approximately 2 seconds to push the new one in the slot.

Fast efficient delivery from Parts Select.com.

No need to publish this I'm sure.

Dryer not drying clothes
By simply replacing the lint filter our dryer now dries clothes in less than an hour like it did when it was new.

Prior to replacing the filter it would take 2 hours to dry a load of clothes.

Both outside door handles turned very beige
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

dryer would not start after another repair
well the problem wasn't the start switch, it was the thermal fuse and thermometer. they blew because I didn't screw them back onto the blower housing after the motor and fan repair. However, start switch repair was very easy. unplug dryer, pull off the plastic start button, unscrew the back top panel using a 1/4 inch socket wrench (I think this is what it is called). once inside, the start switch is located at top left. need to pull the top clip with your thumb or finger while twisting the connector to the left, it comes right out. change out the start switch and reassemble. Videos located on youtube. I have changed out 12 parts (2 rollers, 2 shafts, start switch, idler pulley, belt, rear felt seal, motor, blower fan, thermal fuse and the cycling or initial bias thermometer) on this dryer in past couple of months for a squeaky dryer, dryer still squeaking, dryer won't run at all, etc. all videos were located on youtube most by partselect. motor and blower fan were the initial problem and then Then the thermal fuse and thermometer.
