Broken door handle
I unscrewed the 2 screws on the side of the door and the 2 screws on the bottom of the door, removed the broken handle and r replaced it with the new one.

Plastic door handle for dryer needed to be replaced.
Snapped the new door handle replacement from this site in place. Fits perfectly.

Dryer door handle broken
I just used a putty knife to remove the broken one. It just popped right off.
The new one just popped into place.

door handle on washer broke.
Took out of package. Used screw driver to pop off old broken handle.
Installed new part in a minute or two. Nothing to it. Was very pleased to get the part and so easy to install.

The start switch was broken
Took the front off the dryer and removed the old switch and put in the new one.

Dryer start knob broke clean off
I YouTube'd how to repair it. It was super easy. Needed a power drill to get the screwsa off and a flat head screwdriver to pry off the wires but besides that it took about ten minutes and I was finished.

Top hinge on clothes dryer separated, leaving door difficult to open/close
Ordered part from partselect.com. Part was back ordered; however they were very proactive in communicating status updates! When it arrived it was simply a matter of removing door using a philips screwdriver, installing the new hinge and presto - job complete! Kudos to partselect.com ??

Broken dryer belt
1.Removed access panel on back of machine in order to place a block under the drum(see step 3).2. Removed the top (clips), 3.removed the front panel(clips), block placed under drum earlier prevents drum from tilting and makes removing front panel with door very easy.4. Slipped new belt on. 5.Replaced front panel and removed block under drum. 6. Aligned belt and checked movement of drum, 7. attched belt to pulley on motor and positioned belt tensioner.8. Installed top and access panels.
This repair is very straight forward, block under drum makes things easy, since the drum stays level when the front panel is removed and replaced.

Replace heating coil
The heating coil wire broke and a section of it has become uncoiled. I had to remove the drum to access the heating coil. Disassembly was relatively easy. I took a good amount of time removing the excess lint all inside the dryer. The difficult part was re-installing the sheet metal screws as a few didn't want to cooperate due to burrs or slight misalignment.

prolonged drying period and poor lint collection
removed the old gasket with pliers (noting where the beginning/end of the gasket was) then installed new gasket in the exact location with very light pressure on each rubber insert point. Voila!!

Broken start switch they used pliers and broke the stem
Pulled the unit from the wall, Unpluged the power and removed the back cover behind the switches. twisted the switch removed and removed the wire, inserted switch and turned in place. Put the button on and good to go.
