Door leaking water.
The old gasket around the door pulled out easily but was pretty nasty. While cleaning the channel out, kept finding more gunk that had built up. I decided to go ahead and take off the Inner Door. Used Torx driver to take off the screws. Found a tremendous amount of gunk built up. Was well worth taking the extra time to clean it all out. Replaced the Inner Door and put new gasket in channel. No more leaking!

Broken mount caused dishwasher to shoot water against door, caused leaking
Removed broker washer arm mount with screwdriver and replaced. New parts clipped right on to upper rack, no tools needed. Didn't really need to replace the tube holder but it was brittle so I put it in the order.

Well, to make a long story short. My husband isn't mechanically inclined. He tried to surprise me and do it himself.???
I went back to the web site to make sure I'd ordered the right part.?? looked at the diagram and then watched your little video.?? He had the part hooked opposite of what was shown. (The arm wouldn't rotate) So I turned it arround. While he was still??. It took me less that 5 min and the dishwasher is working Great.????

door seal leak
Removed seal from door with flat head screwdriver, replaced with new seal. Actually took longer to get out of the box rather than to fix!

Flex tines wouldn't remain up due to broken clips.
First, I removed the tines which were still connected to the top rack by the unbroken parts of 3 clips. (The part of the clip which is subject to breakage is the top, where it allows the tines to be clipped up or released and laid down.) I left the broken clips on the rack as a guide to where to install the new ones. I then attached the new clips to the tines, which is like assembling a puzzle. It would be helpful to replace one clip before all 3 break, so you have an illustration, but it's fairly easy to figure out how to attach the clip as long as you realize the tines need to be released and folded down, or clipped in the up position. With all 3 clips attached to the tines, simply pop the broken clips off the rack and attach the tines to the rack with the new clips. I appreciate the advice from the users who warned against breaking the clips with a tool. It's not really necessary to soak them in hot water. My advice is to use only fingers for installation. Brute force is not necessary... just position and pinch.

upper rack dishes not getting cleaned properly
Used nut driver to remove old spray arm assembly on top rack. Reinstalled the new assembly, clamped the holding assembly onto the rack, tightened the holding assembly--that's it.

The washarm bearing ring was completely worn thin and the lower washarm had a greater than usual wobbling
First I removed the nut holding down the lower washarm in place. I then lifted up the lower washarm where it's held in place by the nut. I replaced the two new parts: The lower sprayarm seal that seats underneath the lower washarm and the washarm bearing ring that seats on the top of the lower washarm just underneath the nut. A schematic parts list diagram can be downloaded on the KitchenAid website. The wobbling motion of the lower washarm still seems to have the same amount of play as it had before I replaced the two parts. The lower washarm itself is in fine shape including the nut. I even attempted several other different ways to install the seal and bearing ring, yet the washarm still wobbles when I manually spin it. I called KitchenAid to find out if wobbling of the lower washarm was normal. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to didn't seem to me to knowledgable enough in this area.

Leaking Dishwasher
I poked the old gasket with a fork tine so I could get a grip on the old gasket as I didn't have pliars, pulled it out in less than 4 seconds, folded the new gasket in half and started center top of the slot the old gasket was in and pushed the new gasket in on each side from the top to the bottom. Very easy. I'd say it took me longer to open the package with my teeth than in doing all of the above.

Original rubber extension tube had worn where it connects to the rotary fitting under the upper basket
First I removed the upper basket from the dishwasher by taking off the end clips from the right and left hand slides. The clips are removed by prying them gently upward with a screwdriver.
Second I removed the old spray arm assembly by slipping the old tube off of the rotary fitting.
Third I removed the center screw from the rotary fitting which holds the upper spary arm in place. I also removed the small plastic piece (block) which is clipped to the wire basket.
Fourth I installed the new spray arm assembly making sure to orient the plastic spacer block so that the spray arm rotates freely. The spacer block clips on the wire tray and the assembly is held in place with a single screw.
The new assembly includes a one piece extension tube and end funnel so it is really easy to install.
