Dishwasher wouldn't drain
Turn off the breaker to the dishwasher - there will be water very near the motor and other electrical components. I first scooped and towelled all the water out of the bottom of the dishwasher. The drain valve can be accessed from the bottom front of the dishwasher without pulling the unit out from under the counter. There were 4 screws to remove the 2 bottom metal panels. Next use pliers to loosen and slide back the hose clamp connected to the drain. Have a towel ready and pull the drain hose off the white check valve. The check valve can then be removed by unscrewing it - you may need to use pliers. Put the new one on and everything back together.

leaking badly & not cleaning dishes
You need a properly sized hex (Allen) wrench to get the screws out. Basically simple: remover bottom roller tray, unscrew large plastic holding bolt, remove lower spray arm, unscrew bolts (be sure the wrench is sized right or you might strip the heads), and replace gasket; then reverse procedure. Chances are if the gasket was bad, it will be very obvious (out of circular slot and stretched).

Water leaking from the right front of appliance
The repair was simplicity itself. Remover the sprayer arm, removed the torx screws, replaced the seal, and reversed the process of disassembly. When I found out where the dishwasher was leaking from, I called KitchedAid and was ready to replace the overflow float. The part was 42.00 and wouldn't have fixed the problem. When I found this web site and read other peoples experience, I checked the pump seal, and it was obvious that it had blown out. That saved me a Loy of time and money.

Very easy. Slide the dishwasher out a few inches, install spring per the good instructions, and slide the dishwasher back. Service was amazing. Part arrived just over 24 hours after I made the on-line order. I will use Part Select for all my future appliance parts needs.

Dryer ran too hot.
Replacing the cycling thermostat on our many years old Maytag DG412 was quite easy once the front panel was removed. I removed the original part (power un-plugged!) before dealing with the spade connectors; one of them needed some persuasion with some pliers which was easy with the part removed first. The spades on the new part showed the wire colors on them, which avoided errors.

The hardest part was finding a schematic showing where the thermostat was in this model. The video showed removing the back panel and this model required the front panel to be removed.

rattle in the dishwasher, not working
My husband took the dishwasher apart three times, it was a little frustrating, but was worth the $50 part because it made his wife, very, very happy! A dishwasher operating is on the top 5 list of favorite electronic items in our house.
