GDWT306V00BB General Electric Dishwasher - Instructions

Removed rack from dishwasher, put axles in wheels and replaced onto lower rack. Used new design axle in replacement, seems to be an excellent fit.

Replacement parts were better than original thanks

Removed the wheels and the axles from them and put new axles in place on each wheel then replaced the wheels on the tray.

I took the parts, put them together in literally a minute and they worked like a charm. All for under $10. I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I had gone to a big DIY store where they flipped a parts card for me to call. I went online - found you had my parts, ordered over the weekend and the parts arrived early Tuesday morning.

The parts arrived promptly following my order. I needed to replace four wheels on the dishwasher slide-out basket. It was easy to order using the visual parts-explosion images on the site. I needed to order wheels and saw they each required a hub, so the ordering was easy.
The assembly needed no tools, and the repacement parts were better in fact than the original parts they replaced, as they snapped easily onto the basket.
The entire process, from ordering to assembly, was a good experience, and I bookmarked the site for my future parts-replacement requirements.

I removed what few remaining wheel assemblies there were - just pulled them off - no tools needed. Then I assembled the new wheels and wheel axels and simply snapped them on to the lower rack! It was a piece of cake.

The parts came really fast, I did not even have time to think about them...when they came I was like what? They are here? WOW! anyway, I just changed the wheels with the new axel and perfect! now it works wonderful...and it was so easy! I can't believe I dealt with that for as long as I did.

I installed the clips and then the new wheels. Very simply to do.

easy push on repair parts no tools needed

Very annoying problem with wheels falling off of the bottom dishwasher rack. Thanks to good advice here, purchased wheels AND wheel axels. Axels snap into the wheels, and the wheels snap on the bottom rack. Wheels are wider that the originals, and these snap ons are a much better design. Rack rolls in and out better than brand new!!

poor engineering design of lower basket wheel attachment. With time the c-clips designed to attach wheels to basket axles lost their 'torque-grip' strength allowing the wheels to fall off into the bottom of the dishwasher and melt against the drying element. The replacement clips for the wheels have a very different design and attach to the basket axles in a manner that makes it almost impossible to come off without forcing/breaking them off. I don't know what the name of the new design is, but my hat's off to the engineer(s) who developed it. Amazing how something so simple can make life so much easier. WBB

Fixed in no time, parts arrived in a day!

We had a missing wheel (probably melted in the dishwasher) and a broken wheel for about 6 months. Everyone in the house argued about who had to load/unload the dishwasher because the bottom rack would not move properly and was a hassle. I ordered 8 replacement wheels and axles and they arrived super fast. I was able to fix the problem in less than 10 minutes. I love my dishwasher again!! Yay!!

put the wheel on the axle clip, then attached the assembly to the rack, snapped on. Much better design but may still need replacing down the line.
