The blender would not spin/coupling was worn out
I was going to throw this expensive blender in the trash but decided to buy the part instead. I'm sure happy that I found this part dealer and was able to fix the blender since it was quite an expensive item. I watched the video on how to replace the coupler and I was able to replace the coupler within minutes and the only tool needed was a screwdriver. I just gently and patiently worked the old one out and basically screwed on the new one. It was very easy and a woman can easily master this repair! I did.

KitchenAid blender Coupling was worn out
My husband actually did the repair and he simply followed the instruction that came along with the Coupling part ordered. Within 10 minutes, he was done with his repair. We were both happy and surprised. I thought it would be difficult for him to do it and I initially wanted to just buy a brand new blender rather than trouble ourselves with doing the repair. With the cost of $15.00 inclusive of shipping cost, the blender is working perfectly and we were able to save money. We are happy with our order and would definitely recommend others to do the same thing. In only takes a few minutes to place the order on-line, about two days for shipping, and about 10 minutes for the repair... What a relief! Thank you to part Select.com :) Deb and Don Dominguez

rubber coupling had broken teeth...
I followed the included instructions.

Removal of the old coupling was easily done by gently prying it up. The threads on ot are much softer that the shaft.

Screwed the new coupling on and done.

I also bought two of these couplings as the rubber on it WILL break off again.

drive on blender broke off
I watched the video on the website and I realized I could repair a $100.00 blender myself, for under $20.00! So, so easy and the part came in two days. Great company, Thanks!

Broken Coupling and worn-out seal on a Blender
To start with the coupling, I followed the directions by using a flat screwdriver and a thick towel. I placed the towel under the screwdriver to protect the base unit from damage as I pivoted 1/2 of the tip under the coupling, pulling it up as I went around until the coupling popped off. Then I cleaned the remainder of any metal left behind. Then I attempted to screw the coupling on clockwise but the screw opening was slightly to small. So I plugged in the unit and held the coupling with the screwdriver in place and turn the unit on stir and it screwed it on clockwise.
Next, the seal was replaced at the bottom of the jar. And I was finished. Easy as pie.

Plastic blender coupling ears broken off
Because the old coupling was so tightly screwed onto the shaft it was necessary to use very flat wire crimpers to slide between the old coupling and the blender housing to grip the shaft and immobilize it while pliers were used to grasp the old coupling and loosen it---rotate clockwise.

Drive coupling fell apart during use
I followed the instructions on the sheet that came with the replacement part. The instructions are accurate, however, the working is misleading. I think additional information is needed to make the install easier. First, a flat head screwdriver works best. Also, all the rubber that is on the broken coupling needs to be removed before trying to get the coupling off. Once all the rubber has been removed then it becomes easier to see the metal rod that holds the coupling and distance between the coupling and the base of the blender, take the screwdriver and gently pry the coupling off in an upward movement while going around in a circular manner. Then you can see the coupling rising up from the rod. Then take a hold of the broken coupling and pull it off. Then attach the new coupling, screwing it on counterclockwise. Once you realize what is going on, it's actually quite easy.

The coupling for my blender disintegrated
The repair is easy. Just follow the directions that come with the replacement part. And parts select is awesome. I received the parts within a couple of days and fixed it right away.

I will definitely use this company again. The blender was over $120 when I brought it and I did not want to spend that kind of money again. My cost to fix was about $8.00 for the part and $7.00 for shipping. Hmmmm, $15 vs. $120+ sounds like a good deal to me.
Thank you.

The Drive Coupling teeth were ground down because I didn't put the blender on correctly.
Last time this happened we simply used a thin wrench to unscrew the damaged coupling. This time it was so tight no wrench could undo it. We had to grind it off using a grinder drill until it was so loose it popped off.

Drive coupling had broken teeth
Forget about the repair blogs. The coupling includes a repair instruction sheet. It actually took longer to read the sheet than it did to do the repair. Follow the repair sheet instructions. Very easy, however not intuitive.

Vibration and the soung of motor stuck.
Simply to find the look of dismay in her face. After I violently began shaking and dismantling the compactor in disgust. I decided to unplug it from the wall, I then gathered my senses and began to perform a electrical diagnosis and found that the rotary swich contacts, which activates the compactor, had gone bad. I simply went to the website and selected my part # from the detailed spec sheet. I chose to receive the package on a three day shipment. Here it arrived, installed the part and away the problem went. While on the parts list I included bag brackets that had broke over time and now my compactor is like new.
