coupling on blender base had chipped and needed replacing
I inserted a metal rod in the bottom of the base while I held it sideways to keep the motor from turning and I used pliers to twist the coupling off counterclockwise.
I thought at first I was doing it wrong because it wouldn't nudge so I left it alone. I then read the repair stories again and went back to it and it right came off. I guess there was a lot of gunk holding it tight.
Of course when the new one came days later it was easy to twist it on. Thank you for all of your stories. They were very informative and encouraging. Without them I'm not sure if I would have attempted it myself.

Rubber drive coupling on blender broke apart
Followed the instructions that came with the replacement drive coupler, first removeing the old part using a screw driver, and then easily screwed on the new part. Removing the old part without the aid of the instructions would have been problematic.

Drive coupling wore out
It was harder than the directions said to get the old drive coupling off, but once the old was taken off, it was a piece of cake to put the new one on.
Thanks, great service from this website, received my part the next day after I ordered it!

The drive coupling (what turns the blender) lost all teeths
Watched the video on the site on how to remove the old one and install the new one and it took me all of 5 minutes, at most. I almost threw it away. Super cheap repair. The product arrived in 2 days too. I am saving the site. They are great.

The fingers where sheared off so the blade would not turn.
Pretty muched followed the directions, but after reading all the reviews I knew what do to before the part arrived. Super easy. My blender had been out of commission for a while...now I'm back in business. Well worth the $14 (part and shipping).

My blender I bought at an estate sale needed a new drive coupling.
I used a straight edge screwdriver. At first my husband and I were afraid to much too much force behind the old coupling, but I figured it's no good the way it was so used more force and "pop" it came off. Then installed the new one and I love my blender!!

Teeth on rubber coupling were broken off.
Just like the directions said, I pryed up on the coupling at a few points around it's circumference and it became loose enough to unscrew. I didn't believe it was going to work at first but, amazingly, it did. All that was left to do was screw on the new part. No problem!

blender coupler was worn down
Using the precise instructions provided by parts select, I used a big screw driver and pried off the old coupler and cleaned the area and screwed on the new coupler. Fixed!
The part finally arrived 3 weeks later, after being out of stock and back ordered a couple times.

coupler crumbled
Thanks to everyone before me and their stories!
I felt confident enough to try repairing my blender myself ! ! !
I just placed a flat head screw driver under the coupler and pushed up on the screw driver, 3 or 4 more times around the coupler. It broke away and a metal disc was left, which I unscrewed and I just screwed the new coupler on.
Thanks Again!
