Product Description

This water inlet valve controls cold water flow for the bleach dispenser and prewash cycles. It has one standard hose inlet and three angled outlets—two to the right, one to the left. Designed for select washing machines, it ensures proper water distribution. Disconnect power and water before installation.

Washer was leaking at the bottom
I actually looked on you tube for the type of washer and the issue. I checked all the areas the various videos showed me. The last one I checked was the inlet valves. All that is needed is a Phillips head and a wrench. Took the top off. Unplugged the washer. Unplugged the hoses. Unscrewed the valves and removed the hoses and the circuit p ieces. Replaced one at a time. Everything worked perfect. Hooked hoses back up. No more leaks. Attached the top back and pushed back into place. No more leaking.

The cold water inlet valve cracked and I kept getting water on the floor unless I shut off the water valve completely.
Unplug the washer. Shut off the water and disconnect the cold water hose that goes in the back of the washer. Remove the top cover of the washer. Then I used pliers to disconnect the 3 black hoses from the old water valve that was cracked and to connect them back to the new water valve. It took less than 15 minutes. Very easy.

LG Washer was displaying the FE code.
I found the instructions for the repair on a YouTube video and decided to attempt it myself. I saved $250.00 to $300.00 by doing this simple repair myself. I bought the parts from this site. I took the top off the washer (2 screws) and removed the screws holding the Inlet valves. (I took a photo of the associated hoses and electric con nectors just in case). Installed the new parts and put the top back on. Done. The parts price was so reasonable I decided to replace the hot and cold water inlet valves to be safe although I only needed the cold water valve. It took me longer to clean the lint and debris behind the washer than to do the repair. The parts were a perfect fit and arrived before the promised delivery date. I am a happy camper and will definitely order from this site if I need to do another repair.

Water Leak
Unplug electric cord from washer. Removed 2 screws in the back of washer and slide top back 1 inch and lifted top off washer. Turned off cold water and disconnected the cold water line. Removed the 3 hoses connected to the valve assembly inlet and removed to 2 screws holding the valve assembly in place. Reassembled, total time was about 1 5 minutes. (very easy)

Washing machine was free flowing water
Shut off the water to the machine and unplug it. Remove cold water line from the back of the machine. Remove the two screws holding the water valve in place. Using plyers, slide the clamps holding the three water lines in place out of the way so you can remove the lines. I installed the lines on the new valve as I removed them to avoid r einstalling them in the wrong place. Slide the water line clamps back in place, fasten the valve to the machine with the two screws you removed and reattach the cold water line.

Water leaking from solonoid valve
Take the 4 screws that are located on the back of the washer (Plastic brackets/stops) and the lid slides back and unlocks from the 4 pins on top. Do not lift up, Slide the lid back, It's a tight fit, but it keeps the top from rattling. The valve assy is right there on top. Water inlet hoses connect to it (cold water) Remove the 3 small ho ses, 2 screws and 3 electrical connectors. Remove it and install in reverse order, Easy!

Water leaking
Remove two screws in the back of the top and remove top. Remove two screws holding valve assembly and the three hose clams with pliers and remove hoses. Unplug three electrical connections. Assemble in the reverse order. Be sure to shut of water supply and unplug the washer.

Water was leaking on floor.
I took the back off. Then realized the water was coming from above. So I took the top off and saw the water was leaking between one of the inlet valves. I ordered on-line and part arrived 5-days later. Very easy to repair. Just unhooked the connections and hooked back up.
