This is an authentic OEM replacement part for select models of Rowenta Irons. To see if this is compatible with your Iron, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This part includes the Power Cord, the Control Board, and the Strain Relief. This part is responsible for providing electricity to your Iron. This part should be replaced if your Iron will not turn on, if there is a short in the cord, if the cord is damaged, or if the auto shut off feature does not function properly. This part may also be called a Cord/Power Assembly and is sold individually.

Bad cord, shut off if the cord was not in right position
Opened up the back by removing three screws. Pulled out the old unit and put in the new one. Replaced the back and done.
