The Rowenta iron does not heat up but the Auto Off is on. Kindly provide the part number to fix the problem. Thanks

If you've already shook the iron a little to deactivate the auto off, check the plate for any excessive limescale build up that could be clogging the holes and clean with a non abrasive sponge. My iron will not stay hot. It heats up and then cools. I have to repeatedly unplug and plug it back in. Do you think this part will fix the problem?

Hello Sarah, thank you for the great question. If your iron is not staying hot then the problem is probably with the thermostat. Moreover, also check whether the automatic electronic auto-off* is active or not. If it is active, shake the iron a little to deactivate the auto off. We hope this information helps!

Removed 3 screws. Took several pictures with my camera before removing the wiring. There is an internal plug which simply pulls out slong with the wiring harness. Then replaced with new harness and put in 3 screws. Completed the work in under 10 minutes.
Step 1: unplug Iron. Step 2: remove star head screws and then gently pry off back cover. Step 3: remove old wire/plug assembly by gently pulling until free. Step 4: slide in the new replacement wire/plug assembly. Step 5: replace back cover and star head screws. Step 6: plug in Iron to test...
Removed the base and unplugged the old cord and plugged in the new one. Good as new. Just need to have the correct screwdriver
