Evap fan motor became louder and louder. I assumed, we know what that means, motor going bad or out of balance.
If out of balance, I would need a fan motor, fan and fan grommet to stabilize the motor and fan. Once frozen food, shelf and baskets were removed, next task was to clean food particles on shelf brackets and floor of freezer. Followed Steve's video with no problems. Only slight problem was I needed to remove the light and bulb protector to be able to put the coil protector back in place without bending it. Entire job only took 30 minutes then another 15 to gather tools, then put them away. Motor is nice and quiet now. Outstanding instructional video. Thank you. Herb

Grinding evaporator fan noise.
This was an easy job. Remove shelves, back cover, fan blade, unplug and remove fan motor. Replace motor and fan blade. Just like the video. It actually took me longer to clean the freezer compartment before returning it to service than it took to replace the motor.
