Miter Saw Kerf Plate

This Kerf plate is a genuine DeWalt replacement part. It is made of plastic with a slot in the middle for the saw blade to slide through. It has 3 screw holes on each side (6 in total) to firmly secure the kerf plate to your saw. rnrnKerf plates (also called kerf boards) are used to prevent excessive splintering, resulting in cleaner cuts. Using the wrong kerf plate for your tool can give a rough edge to the material you’re cutting.

Dust Bag

This is an authentically sourced dust bag for a miter saw. It includes the fabric dust bag, a wire bag support, and the plastic fitting to attach it to your equipment. It also has a zipper to make emptying it quick and easy. It is commonly replaced because the fabric has torn or the zipper broke. The dust bag is connected to the miter saw via a friction connection. To remove it, just simply pull it away from the tool. Place the new dust bag fitting into the neck of the new dust bag and push it back into place.

Outer Clamp

This is an outer clamp for a miter saw and it is sold individually. It works with another flange (sold separately), to secure the saw blade. The shape of the outer clamp is identical to that of the saw arbor. This stops the flange from moving on the arbor shaft. It is common for the blade flanges to wear over the use of the saw, and this can lead to a wobbly blade. Start your repair by unplugging the tool. Pull the guard to expose the blade screw. Use the wrench that came with the purchase of the saw and remove the outer clamp. The new outer clamp can now be installed in its place.
