Sleeve Bearing

Sleeve bearings are located on the blade pulley axles of your bandsaw. If you notice the blade on your bandsaw is not tracking correctly, this is likely a sign that this part needs to be replaced. We recommend inspecting the blade pulley tires at the same time because if they are worn, they can also hinder the tracking of the blade. Each bandsaw has four of these sleeve bearings, however, they are sold separately. We carry only OEM quality parts to ensure proper fit and performance.

Carbon Brush With Spring

This part includes one carbon brush with spring. Two of these brushes are needed in most models, and we recommend replacing them both at the same time, as they tend to wear at the same rate. A worn brush often affects the performance of the motor, and that is usually the first indication that a replacement is needed. For this repair, you will need to use a screwdriver to remove the brush cap which holds the brushes in place. To install, align the new brush with the holder and insert it by aligning the wings with the sides of the holder. Press the brush into the holder and secure the cap back on. Never over-tighten the cap, as this could break it. These steps will need to be repeated on the other side for the second brush.

Pulley Washer

This part includes one pulley washer for a band saw. This pulley washer is made out of nylon and is located between the pulley and the bolt fasteners on the housing. It makes the rotation of the pulley smooth and prevents friction between metal components. This washer will deteriorate over time and this can cause damage to the housing, pulley and fasteners. This OEM part is sourced right from the manufacturer.

This is an authentic OEM pulley tire for a band saw, sold individually. Two tires are needed on the band saw, so even if only one is worn, we advise replacing both at the same time. The tires are made of rubber to ensure reliable traction to drive the blade safely. This rubber material is prone to wear with time, especially considering its constant contact with metal shavings. If the blade is coming off the pulley or not tracking properly, these are common signs that it is time to be replaced. This is a very quick and easy repair that does not require any tear down of parts or tools. The tire simply stretches onto the pulleys.

Rear Roller Kit

This is an authentic OEM rear roller kit for a band saw. It includes the metal mounting bracket, the lateral blade guide rollers, and the thrust guide roller, which all comes preassembled and ready to mount to your saw as-is. This kit also includes two mounting screws. The roller assembly is prone to wear due to its contact with the blade. The bearings can wear, which can cause them to seize. The metal mount can also become damaged if the blade makes contact. For this simple repair, remove the rear guard to expose the rear roller. Remove the roller and install your new one. There is a pin located on the back of the roller assembly, which aligns with the housing. Once you have it properly aligned, reinstall the screws and then the rear guard.
