This is a single carbon brush with a spring. Carbon brushes are what supply electricity to the armature. They are known to wear due to constant rubbing against the commutator, so it should not be a concern if they are in need of a replacement. They should be inspected regularly, especially if your power tool is not functioning properly. A worn brush can cause excessive sparks, however a damaged armature can also cause sparks, so you will need to inspect both parts. This is a simple repair that should only take a few minutes. You will need to remove the brush caps, and then align the new carbon brush in the holder with the tabs. You will need a screwdriver to secure the cap.

This Switch is an OEM approved replacement part for various tools and models manufactured by Delta, Black and Decker, and Porter Cable. For full compatibility, please see the "Model Cross Reference List" below. This Switch has four terminals, a removable safety key, and a compact design for easy installation. The purpose of the switch is to turn the device on/off, as well as playing a role in electric breaking by momentarily reversing electrical polarity. Due to the mechanical internals of switches, they tend to degrade and wear out over time, making them a commonly replaced part in power tools. Common symptoms of a broken switch include: the device has completely stopped functioning, it will not turn on, and turning off intermittently during use. Each Switch is sold individually, and may also be referred to as a Rocker Switch.

The blade guide is what positions the blade in the band saw, ensuring a precise and clean cut. This blade guide is sourced directly from the manufacturer and is sold individually. It is recommended to replace all four at the same time (add to cart accordingly). As the blade wears down, the guide can be adjusted to compensate. Eventually, the guide will wear as well, and will need to be replaced.

This is a genuine part that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Delta band saws. The tire is one of the most important parts, its purpose is to help track the blade on the wheel. If the tire becomes stretched or starts cracking you will notice your blades not tracking properly. Keep in mind this high-quality component is made of durable rubber material and is sold individually. Please make sure to refer to the owners manual for the correct application of this tire.

Broken trunnions when trying to move bandsaw by lifting on table, not a good practice!!
Remove broken trunnions, fit new ones into place and tighten. Then mount on saw and if movements are hard or impossible, remove table top, and trunnions , and using a bench grinder remove molding marks from bolt retainers inside of trunnions. (Be careful not to let the grinder take the brackets out of your hands). Reassemble and try again. Read more...

This ball bearing fits a variety of lawn and gardening tools. The ball bearings prevent friction between rotating parts. The balls do this by bearing the load and spin and distributing the weight equally, while the minimal contact area of the balls reduce friction. This allows your tool to run easily. Ball bearings are a commonly replaced part because of the constant wear they experience. Tip: check your bearings and replace them periodically. *Please note: they are sold individually.
