To ensure your engine is protected, it is vital that the air filter is inspected regularly and replaced according to the manufacturer recommendations. This filter helps to prevent dirt and dust from making its way into the carburetor and damaging the engine. If the engine is not functioning as it should, this should be one of the first parts you check. To inspect the filter, you will need to remove the air cleaner cover, and lift the filter out of place to remove.

This is a genuine OEM Honda replacement part. Spark plugs are used to take energy from the battery to create and electric spark, that spark is used to ignite the air fuel mixture in your small engine. Spark plugs are commonly used in of a number of small engines, such as lawn mowers, generators, snow blower, trimmers, augers, etc. It is recommended that you inspect your spark plug while you are doing regular maintenance, so you can clean and change the part when necessary. If you don?t replace it often enough you may have trouble starting the engine or it may run rough. To install this part you will need a spark plug socket.

This is a spark plug for a small engine, sold individually. Spark plugs supply a spark that ignites the air and fuel mixture, creating the power needed for the engine. It is essential to replace the spark plug as part of your preventative maintenance tasks, to ensure a smooth and efficient running machine. A worn spark plug can cause the engine to not start, a rough running engine, stalling, and increased fuel consumption. It is best to change your spark plug regularly to avoid these symptoms, however if you are experiencing one, the spark plug should be one of the first components you check.

This is a single primer bulb for a small engine. The primer bulb is clear and made of rubber. The bulb gets pressed with your finger to purge the carburetor of air. Fuel then gets forced up from the fuel tank through the fuel line and back to the carburetor. The extra fuel then gets pushed back into the fuel tank through the return line. The primer bulb can easily crack due to its constant contact with fuel and will need to be replaced.

This is a genuinely sourced fuel filter for a small engine, sold individually. This is an in-tank fuel filter that serves to filter out debris that could potentially be delivered to the engine. Over time it will get clogged, and this will prevent fuel from getting to the engine, hindering its performance. The fuel filter should be inspected once a year or every one-hundred hours. To inspect or replace the fuel filter, start by ensuring the oil filter cap is securely in place. Take off the fuel tank cap, drain the fuel, pull out the old fuel filter through the fuel filler neck (hooking the black fuel tube with wire/paper clip). If the fuel filter is excessively dirty, it will need to be replaced.
