For this simple replacement, no tools are needed. Press the retaining tabs down and this will release the cover. With the cover removed, pull the old air cleaner off by hand. Install the new air cleaner by placing it in the housing and aligning the lower cover tabs with the housing and then snap the upper tabs into place.
