stopped making ice
checked unit. compressor running, water in tray, wire cube cutter warm. no water running up to the freezer tray. 2 thumb screws remove the water tray. the recirculate pump will be the lowest thing. apprx 2.5" by 2.5 with a hose in the bottom. I don't remember if there is enough room to remove the pump without taking off the 3 screws for the pump holder. you will also need to remove the 1 screw for the upper cover to unplug the recirculate pump.To get it out of the holder just squeeze the sides of the pump and it will wiggle out. I took everything apart and took the time to clean everything. It will have mold in it so its a good thing. Clorox clean up works great spray and wait about 15 min and rinse good. This job is easy. what is difficult is reaching in to get to the parts. its a little frustrating. all screws are hex head you'll need nut drivers. also put a piece of tape over the drain hole in back so you don't lose a screw. while your cleaning, take off the 4 screws for the bottom cover for the refrigeration unit and clean the coils (in front) with a vacuum brush end. It will let the unit work better. This is my second time buying from partselect. no issues, fast service. much cheaper than calling a repair person.

No ice
Board diagnostics stop at Cir pump. Replaced circulation pump. Made half of one cycle of ice. Stopped. Replaced control board. Problem solved. But, set thermosensor too low on bin wall. Made one cycle of ice and stopped. Set thermosensor higher on bin wall, just above the front threshold of the bin, now all is working great. Control circuit board swap was easy except for the 2 rear screws that hold the control panel case to the bin. The holes for these screws are not visible without a mirror and are tricky to start.

Not making ice
Feel like I made $300! Quoted $ 350 for repair... Was told over the phone "those pumps are real expensive". 5 screws and a plug and pump was out... Exact match for 55.40 plus shipping... Reinstall in 20 minutes... EXTREMELY easy... BOOM working like a charm
