Use a putty knife and a flathead screwdriver to pry the door switch out of the liner. Disengage the wire harness to release the damaged switch. Switch actuator was broken

Replaced the switch. It was easily pried out with the putty knife blade by sliding the knife blade under the switch flange, depressing the lock tab and gently twisting the knife blade to pop the switch body out. Unplug the connector to remove the faulty switch from the wiring harness and plug in the replacement. The connector is designed to fit on only one way. Push the wiring and the switch back into the opening, orienting the new switch in the same orientation as the old switch. It snaps in with light finger pressure. Read more...

Adjustable Tine Row Clip
