Brine Valve Assembly WS15X10077

Too much or too little water in a softeners salt tank may point to a problem with the brine valve assembly. The assembly controls water movement through the tank during the regeneration cycle and helps send the correct brine mixture to the resin tank. Proper brine flow allows the system to remove collected minerals from the resin beads and prepare them for another softening cycle. Replacement may be needed if the valve leaks, sticks, or no longer controls the tank level correctly. Check the package contents and parts diagram before installation. Disconnect power and turn off the water before service.
