Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
30 - 60 mins
Tools:
Socket set
The female connectors easly slip back into the oven connector opening
Had to remove the back plate on the range and push the connectors back into the oven. Then the connection was then very easy to finish. The connector wires are short for a good reason, so put a clip on them as you remove the old bake element. And then you will not have a problem connecting them to the element.

Nutdriver, Pliers
Bake element failed.
With nut driver , remove two screws supporting bake element to rear wall of oven. With pliers, disconnect two wires from old bake element. Had to use pliers as old connections were corroded. Connect existing wires to new element. I was able to do this by hand, easy fitting connection to new element. Install the two screws supporting the new element to the back wall of the oven with nut driver. Very easy removal, installation. Total time, less than 15 minutes.

Easy

Tools:
Screw drivers
Old Bake Element burned out.
To replace the bake element I took the front door of the oven off, removed the two screws in the back of the oven holding the element in place. Then I carefully pulled the element away from the insulation until the wire connections were exposed. Next, I disconnected the wires from the old element and connected them to the new element. Finally I positioned the new element back in place, screwed in the two screws and replaced the door.
