I have oil on the bottom of my washer motor rotor. Seems like it is leaking oil from somewhere. The machine is also not wringing the clothes out well and they are still wet when cycle is done. Doesn’t seem to be making any noises though. Would this be caused by a bad heat case?

Making noises when it agitating only

Hello David, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the gearcase, part number FIX12741641. Its internal gears might wear out, or seals fail and leak oil, leading to heavy metal-on-metal grinding during the agitator's back-and-forth strokes. You may need to replace it to fix the issue.
