No water at dispenser or ice maker
If you replace the filter and after replacement you have no water at the dispenser or ice maker this part could have gone bad. I found that there is a little knub...that is the best way to descibe it that broke up in this housing. I belive from replacing the filter without shutting off the water supply first. This little knub once the fil ter is installed allows water to flow to the dispenser and ice maker. This part is very easy to replace. 2 screws inside the fridge 2 screws behind the fridge and the main water line and inside water line that is easily removed with an adjustable wrench. This replacement part was a perfect fit and within 20 minutes from start to finish I had water again. I will make sure I turn off the water before replacing any water filters in the future

Water dispenser not working.
Unplug refrigerator at electrical outlet. Turn off water supply. Disconnect water supply line from filter assembly tubing. Remove seven screws from cardboard cover (bottom, back of refrigerator). Disconnect filter assembly tubing to water inlet valve. Remove two screws from plate covering filter assembly tubing access to refrigerator (top left, back of refrigerator). Remove water filter. Remove filter assembly cover (no screws). Remove two screws holding filter assembly to back inside wall of refrigerator. Install new filter assembly in reverse order.
