Product Description

This oven door gasket assembly forms a tight, heat-retaining seal around the oven cavity to keep temperatures consistent and ensure even baking and roasting. Made from durable, heat-resistant rubber, it prevents warm air and moisture from escaping, helping the oven cook efficiently while reducing energy loss. Replacing a worn or damaged gasket can resolve issues such as uneven cooking, visible gaps around the door, or excess condensation on the exterior. Installation is typically simple—remove the old seal from its clips or grooves and press the new gasket securely into place to restore optimal oven performance.

Socket set
oven door gasket was frayed and worn.
I removed the oven door from the hinges and then started to take off the bottom screws off the door, then the top screws. I then removed the oven cover that holds the gasket in place and then turned it around and I took off the glass screws and removed the glass and the metal cover that is attached to. once this was done I had to remove t he fiberglass insulation that is underneath the metal glass cover and then the gasket was there. once I got to the gasket I had to remove 4 additional screws that hold the gasket in place. then remove the old gasket and start to install the new one and then put everything back the way I took it off. if anyone does this please be mindful not to mix up the screws you need to put back the proper screws for the proper holes and do not over tighten the screws because you can stripe the hole and now the screw will not tighten.
