While frothing milk-a little steam came out the steam wand and a lot of steam came out the water spout-found a hole between the steam side of the valve and the water side.
Removed the knob of the selector valve(after removing the water tank, top panel and rear panel)removed the steam wand,removed the two tubes screwed into the selector valve,one tube on a barb on the valve and one tube that was in the way of removing the valve.removed the mounting screws and a screw with the grounding wire.after the knob is removed there is a screw in the center of the valve, if you remove this (be careful-there is a little chrome piece that may fall out of place)(this square plastic piece can be removed through the knob- and this makes removal of the valve easier) now the valve should be free-lift it up to access the screws that hold the plastic plate that the switches are mounted to- then remove the selector valve.Do reverse order to install.
