Dual Burner Switch - 240V

Disconnect the vent pipe from the blower motor, lift the cooktop out of the counter and place support under both ends of the cooktop. Remove six nuts from the sides of the cooktop housing then life off top. Identify the bad switch and replace. Time taken about 11/2 -2 hours.

Replace the bad switch with the new one Whirlpool Part # 71003634. re-place the glass top on the cooktop, re-insert the whole cooktop in the counter top whole and finally reconnect the exhaust pipe.
