This is a genuine OEM replacement burner knob for your cooktop. The burner knob is used to turn your surface element on and off, and to adjust the temperature. If one of the knobs has broken, it should be replaced. The knob is sold individually, is made of a silver colored plastic, and fits onto a double flat shaft. No tools are required to replace this part, simply pull off the old one and push the new one into place.
