Helix end cap split apart / Ice dispenser bucket cracked
Getting the helix end cap on was difficult. held it in bench vise to work it in place. no instructions as to any way to perform the task, it became trial and error. After getting it installed, I realized it would have helped if I used some sort of lube to slide easier in place. Having a schematic of how it all went together was a grea t help.Local Maytag dealer would not touch it. Said it was to expensive time wise to mess with it. I bought the parts spent two hours of my time and I have a working ice machine again.
