Product Description

This is the replacement ice maker auger and crusher blade assembly for your refrigerator. It is approximately 15 inches long and 7 inches wide. The ice maker auger sits within the ice maker assembly and rotates to push the ice from ice container into the dispenser chute. If your ice maker bucket is full, but ice is not being dispensed, it is an indication that the auger is damaged. Be sure to disconnect power from the refrigerator before you repair the auger. This part is sold individually and is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Ice Maker Auger and Crusher stopped working
Slid ice bucket drawer out of frig; emptied ice into separate container; un-snapped front plastic cover off ice bucket drawer; used nut driver to remove two screws at bottom of Icemaker Auger and Crusher Blade Assembly; took out old Icemaker Auger and Crusher Blade Assembly and replaced with new Auger and Crusher Blade Assembly; replaced front plastic cover (it snaps back in place); put ice back in ice bucket drawer and inserted drawer with new Icemaker Auger and Crusher Blade Assembly into frig; tested by pushing on ice dispenser button on frig door and all operated as new. Total time less than 15 minutes.
