Product Description

This replacement thermostat is designed for use with electric dryers to help regulate and maintain the correct temperature during each drying cycle. A properly working thermostat ensures that the heating element shuts off at the right time, preventing overheating that could damage clothing or, in severe cases, create a fire hazard. If your dryer is not shutting off the heat when it should, this thermostat may be the part you need. Installation requires disconnecting the appliance from its power source for safety, and the thermostat is secured inside the dryer with two screws, which are sold separately.

no heat, burned out heater element,
UNPLUG first! remove vent hose, remove inside vent tube, (three screws), remove the top panel, (two screws, on back top), remove front panel with door,(4 screws on top, & 3 screws inside door)..to remove heater, remove one screw in the front, and unplug the wiring, then snake it out the back.. install new and put back together following steps back to start!!
