I was told to replace this part on my dryer because I am getting a vent occlusion alert but there isn’t an occlusion. Is it correct to do this? Thank you.
For model number DV50K8600EV/A3

Hello Ethan, thank you for contacting us. Provided that the vents are clean, we would recommend checking the blower wheel, part number FIX4212790, and its motor, part number FIX4204647, and make sure they are working and able to keep the air in flow. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the thermistor, part number FIX4204984, and the control board, part number FIX11766599. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!

My dryer is not heating. How can I tell if it is the heating element or the thermistor?
For model number DV448AEP/XAA

Hello Sonia, Thank you for the question. In order to confirm if the Heating element or the Thermistor are faulty, they would need to be tested with a Multimeter. The Thermistor should read 10,000 ohms at 77°. The Element should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Dryer would shut off after a few minutes into drying cycle. Not heating properly.
I took the outer parts off the dryer including the control panel. Then I went under the drum and took out the old thermistor and plugged the new one in. I didnt have to take the drum out to do it. A person should be somewhat mechanically inclined to do this. The most difficult task was taking all the screws out to get to the part that needed replacing.

Gas Dryer would not heat up
The video is really helpful in the dis-assembly process of a Samsung dryer. These coils fit the Samsung DV328 even though it's not listed. - PS334310 There were a lot of pieces to take apart in order to get to the coils. None of it was hard, just a lot and it was all done with a single Phillip's screwdriver.
