replacement of upper dishrack

Very simple until we had to remove the rotating spray arm. The clamps that hold the arm had to be heated in order to make them pliable - both to get them off and to get them on the new rack.

Rusted/Broken Tines

Simple repair. However, the only top rack available is dark grey, bottom is light grey. For over $400, I would have expected them to match. Still, this is better than getting a new "water saving" unit. (Just like the new washers, they take forever, and don't clean very well.) This old unit soldiers on. The dishrack didn't fit our unit.

Fix.com wouldn't pay to return postage. I was willing to pay myself, but the cheapest shipping cost was $80. More than twice the price of the rack.
