Dishes were not being cleaned very well. Discovered clogged filter.
Removed upper and lower rack for access to spray arm on bottom of washer. Removed all spray arms and cleaned them out. Small particles of food and glass from broken glasses or dishes were removed from arms. removed bottom spray arm to gain access to fine filter. Pulled out filter and discovered that the rubber line leading to the filter w as clogged. Used a turkey baster to suction the rubber line. Removed small basket like cover that leads to the pump reservoir, and cleaned. I also removed the metal screen at the bottom of the dishwasher to clean it. I did not know there was a replaceable filter in this machine. It is 13 years old, and had worked quite well. Now that I have replaced the filter I expect it to continue cleaning dishes well again. The owners manual says nothing about the filter or cleaning.
