How does the drip bowl attach to my Kenmore cooktop stove? How do you remove igniter switch from existing drip bowl?
Thank you.
For model number 911.32289091
Hi Al,
Thank you for your question. Before starting this repair, please unplug the range from the electrical outlet. Then remove the grates, the burner cap and the burner head. Once these parts have been removed, unthread the 2 screws securing the bowl to the cooktop. Then lift up the bowl and disconnect the igniter wire from the igniter and remove the bowl. Place the igniter in the new bowl and connect the ignition wire to it. Position the bowl on the cooktop and secure it with the screws. Reinstall the burner head, the burner cap and the grate. Restore power to the range. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
