This is an OEM connecting rod and piston assembly for an air compressor. This assembly includes the cylinder tube, valve plate O-rings and a complete piston including the bearing. This assembly is usually replaced because of low compression. For this repair you will need a screwdriver and wrench.

I am looking at the piston rod... Fix # FIX10049059... I see a piston, 2 gaskets and a piston sleeve BUT is there a gasket on the top of the piston that will allow the piston to create pressure?
